Reacting to a bill seeking to expel terrorist families from their homes, Yesh Atid party head Yair Lapid voiced his support for the bill, simultaneously criticizing the government for taking this long to advance it.
"I want to say something from here to the government of Israel: I am in favor of demolishing the houses of terrorists - where have you been until now? I am in favor of expelling the families of terrorists who are involved in terror - where have you been until now? I am in favor of a diplomatic move move from a position of power - where have you been until now?" Lapid said before a faction meeting.
The bill passed its first reading in the Knesset yesterday.
