Lebanese PM forms cabinet 5 months after taking office

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Monday formed his 30-member cabinet after nearly five months in office since he was elected on January 25 to replace former prime minister Saad Hariri, the Lebanese Daily Star reported.

The Cabinet's majority is made up of the Hezbollah-led March 8 coalition, and Mitaki was quoted as saying that the "government will be a government for all Lebanon and will work for all the Lebanese people without discrimination."

“The motto of this government is ‘all for the country, all for work,’” the Lebanese prime minister added.
