Liberman slams bid passed by Britain's National Union of Students to boycott Israel

Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman slammed on Tuesday a motion passed by Britain's National Union of Students to join the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israeli companies.
"The Student's Union's decision to back the BDS movement is hypocritical and capitulates to the dictates of radical Islam," the former foreign minister said in a statement after the motion was approved.

"I would expect students with intellectual integrity to first speak out against 'Jihadi John' and other British citizens fighting alongside Islamic State," before going after the Jewish state, he said.
He said Israel was "much more of a democratic and enlightened state than those insincere students."
