Former defense minister Avigdor Liberman commented on the growing ties between Israel and Arab states in the Persian Gulf, saying that Israel engages in a great deal of dialogue and contact with these Arab nations."Sunni states understand that Israel is not the problem, it's the solution," Liberman said in an interview with Jerusalem Post Editor in Chief Yaakov Katz at The Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference on Wednesday. "Israel today is the most serious player in the region, other big players come from the outside. We are part of the Middle East and we are reliable partners. The real division in the Middle East is not between religions, but between radicals and moderates."
