Lieberman: Building freeze continuation not possible

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on Thursday to discuss the progress of peace talks with the Palestinians and Gaza flotilla campaign.

"We are ready for direct talks, but continuing the building freeze is not possible and not reasonable," Lieberman said at the meeting.

Lieberman also said that he expected that the European Union would be more active in preventive activist ships from heading towards Gaza and would pressure Turkey, Lebanon and Syria to desist from "provocations."
