Likud defends Netanyahu, argues speed of indictment astonishing

Likud responded to a comment retired vice president of the Supreme Court, Judge Eliahu Mazza made on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's indictment case.
"There is no precedent that they opened a hearing against a public figure during an election period and not allow him to present his answers until the elections," Likud said.
Likud argued that the planned indictment hearing will be an interference with the elections.
