Likud MK calls on IDF general to resign over 1930s Germany comments

A lawmaker from the ruling Likud party is calling on the army deputy chief of staff to resign following his Holocaust Remembrance Day remarks which seemingly compared Israel with Nazi Germany.
MK David Biton on Friday called on Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan to step down.
Golan has since walked back his comments, claiming he never meant to liken Israel to Nazi Germany.
