Likud sources: PM offered Bayit Yehudi Education Ministry

Likud sources on Tuesday confirmed a Channel 2 report that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu offered Bayit Yehudi the Education Ministry if the party were to agree to join the coalition within the next 48 hours.

Sources in Bayit Yehudi had earlier denied the same report.

According to the Channel 2 report, the offer was part of Netanyahu's efforts to break up Bayit Yehudi and Yesh Atid who have been working in tandem in coalition negotiations.
