Limmud FSU conference in US to feature Golda Meir exhibit

The annual Limmud FSU Conference in the New York area will this year feature the opening of a special photographic exhibition about the life of late prime minister Golda Meir.

The Limmud FSU photo exhibition, "Where are all the women leaders? A tribute to Golda Meir," curated by Yoram Dori, celebrates Meir as history's only woman Mideast leader. The opening of the exhibit will be followed by a special panel discussing the scarcity of women political leaders and its impact.

The conference, attended by hundreds of young Jewish adults from the New York area whose parents emigrated from the former Soviet Union, is taking place this year from April 1-3 in Parsipanny, New Jersey.
