State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss sent cautionary letters to four senior law enforcement officials, in which he attributed "personal responsibility" but no malice, in the wiretapping affair of Vice-Premier Haim Ramon, Channel 2 reported Thursday evening.
Last July, Lindenstrauss established a special committee to probe allegations of questionable police wiretapping, particularly against Ramon in his recent sex-abuse case affair, with the state comptroller at its head.
The other members of the team include Boaz Aner, head of the division which monitors the government ministries; senior department head Hanna Yizraelovitz; and Rami Haimowitz, assistant to the state comptroller.
