Lindenstrauss sends cautionary letters to Ramon investigators

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss sent cautionary letters to four senior law enforcement officials, in which he attributed "personal responsibility" but no malice, in the wiretapping affair of Vice-Premier Haim Ramon, Channel 2 reported Thursday evening. Last July, Lindenstrauss established a special committee to probe allegations of questionable police wiretapping, particularly against Ramon in his recent sex-abuse case affair, with the state comptroller at its head. The other members of the team include Boaz Aner, head of the division which monitors the government ministries; senior department head Hanna Yizraelovitz; and Rami Haimowitz, assistant to the state comptroller.
