Little girl regains consciousness after falling 4 floors

A five-year-old girl who fell from her family’s four-floor apartment on Friday regained consciousness at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot on Monday and is stable.
She was gradually weaned from her respirator and suffered "only bruises" to her pelvic and stomach regions but no fractures or brain damage, the hospital said.
"She is expected to return to full function," said Dr. Eli Shapiro, deputy head of pediatric intensive care, who supervised a large interdisciplinary team of doctors in the case.
