Knesset candidate and former foreign minister Tzipi Livni called Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's 2009 Bar-Ilan speech "spin and a lie," speaking at the same university on Monday.In the 2009 speech, Netanyahu accepted the two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict after campaigning on a platform of "economic peace."Explaining her own support of the two-state solution, Livni said the reason she wants peace is "to preserve Israel as a Jewish national home," adding that refusing to make peace will turn Israel into a bi-national or Arab state.
