Livni to Netanyahu: The last thing Israel needs is to retake Gaza

Opposition leader Tzipi Livni dismissed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement Wednesday that Israel's 2005 disengagement from the Gaza Strip was a mistake, saying that Netanyahu himself voted for the disengagement plan.
"This is the man who promised to quell Hamas, who wrote that it is forbidden to release hostages and then released 1000," Livni wrote on Twitter in response to Netanyahu's speech at the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly. "The last thing that Israel needs is to be in charge of the most densely population place in the world; there were thousands of rockets fired at us even then."
