Londoners face another difficult morning getting to work on the second day of a strike by subway workers.
London Underground says that services are running on about half of its lines on Thursday despite the strike by the Rail, Maritime and Transport union.
The strike began Tuesday night and is due to end at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Union president Bob Crow says he has been in touch with mediators overnight, and is ready to meet with management again.
