A thirty-year-old man barricaded himself along with his infant son in an apartment building in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem Sunday night, apparently after a disagreement with his wife. Police negotiators arrived on the scene and were able to convince the man to open the door within an hour. The man was armed with a gun from his work as a guard but he did not use the weapon. Police detained the man for questioning after the incident.
