Man gets 4 years for sexually assaulting sister-in-law

Judge Sarah Dotan of the Tel Aviv District Court sentenced a 32 year old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to four and a half years in prison Thursday for sex offenses against his sister in law, a minor.

According to the charge sheet, the offenses took place sometime in 2007 or 2008, when the defendant was alone with his young sister-in-law in her bedroom. He stopped the attack only when he heard voices outside the room.

The defendant, who has previous drug dealing offenses, denied all the charges against him and according to the judges' report intends to appeal his conviction to the Supreme Court.
