Man jailed after killing 2 cousins over NIS 500 debt

A man found guilty of murdering his two cousins after a row over a NIS 500 debt was sentenced to two life sentences in the Haifa District Court on Sunday.
Adnan Sba'aneh, aged 52, from Shfar'am,  shot and killed his cousins Fares Mohsan and Salem Mohsan in October 2010 after ambushing their car as they drove to work.
Sba'aneh decided to kill Fares after a dispute over an alleged NIS 500 debt, the court found.
The panel of judges noted that Sba'aneh had carefully planned and carried out the double murder, including changing the appearance of his own car after the shootings so that it would not be identified.
