A 30-year-old man was gunned down inbroad daylight in Jaffa on Saturday morning, on one of the busieststreet corners in the city.
The man was standing outside a kiosk onthe corner of Yehuda Hayamit and Albert Kiosso streets when someonein a passing car opened fire, hitting him in the head. The man wasrushed from the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics to WolfsonHospital in Holon, where he died of his wounds.
Tel Aviv Police said the man has nocriminal record and is not known for being involved in any criminalactivities. They added that they don't believe it was a case ofmistaken identity, rather, the man was gunned down as part of afamily dispute not at all related to organized crime.
No suspects have yet been arrested inthe shooting.
