Man suspected of killing daughter sent for 7-day psychiatric evaluation

Assaf Goldring, the man suspected of killing his three-year-old daughter, Noa, and then trying to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and attempting to overdose on sleeping pills, was sent for a seven-day evaluation at a psychiatric hospital on Tuesday. Psychiatrists made the decision to admit Goldring after meeting with him and determining that his state of mind could only be properly assessed at the hospital.
