Man suspected of killing daughter sent for 7-day psychiatric evaluation

Assaf Goldring, the man suspected of killing his three-year-old daughter, Noa, and then trying to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and attempting to overdose on sleeping pills, was sent for a seven-day evaluation at the Lev Hasharon Psychiatric Hospital in Pardesia on Tuesday. Psychiatrists made the decision to admit Goldring after meeting with him and determining that his state of mind and fitness to stand trial could only be properly assessed at the hospital.
