Man turns himself in for Nazareth shooting

A man turned himself into police on Tuesday, claiming responsibility for the Monday night murder of a Nazareth man.

The man told police he was playing with a pistol in a car when it fired, striking his friend and critically wounding him. The man remains in custody and police are still investigating the incident, and are trying to determine where the gun came from.

Late Monday night, a Nazareth man was found in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his chest lying in the entryway of the Nazareth Hospital. The man passed away from his wounds a few hours later.
