The Lod District Court sentenced Tesfa Mariam Ifsai to 18 years in prison for the attempted murder of a woman, whom he left brain-dead by hitting her repeatedly in the head with a brick, Ynet reported.
According to the indictment, Ifsai left the woman for dead, after which she was found by a passerby and taken to the hospital.
