Man who threatened Trump arrested in Ohio after 3-month manhunt

A Pennsylvania man who threatened to shoot President Donald Trump has been arrested in Ohio after a three-month manhunt during which he stole cars and firearms and passed between a half-dozen states and Canada, officials said on Saturday.

Shawn Richard Christy, 27, was armed with a .380 caliber handgun and a knife when he was captured on Friday in a densely wooded area of Mifflin Township in Richland County, the US Marshals Service said in a statement.

"It's been a long three months, believe me," US Marshals Service Supervisory Deputy Robert Clark said by telephone, describing the search for the suspect.
