Man wounded in Kiryat Gat stabbing; background unclear

A man was found stabbed and wounded in the upper body Monay in the southern city of Kiryat Gat.
Magen David Adom provided initial treatment and later evacuated the approximately 46-year-old man to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon.
The background of the incident was initially unclear, however police said it was likely a criminal matter. Authorities were searching the area for suspects.
