McMaster: 'Atrocities' in Afghanistan and Britain underscore shared challenges

WASHINGTON - US National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said on Sunday that recent "atrocities" in Afghanistan and Britain underscored the urgency of shared challenges in facing up to militant attacks.
McMaster told a forum organized by the American Jewish Committee in Washington that the United States offered its heartfelt condolences to the British and Afghan people and had "an unshakeable resolve to stand with them in the face of recent terrorist attacks."
"The latest atrocities underscore the urgency of our shared challenges," he said.
