Meretz will begin its first day in Knesset on Tuesday by submitting a bill calling for the overturn of the existing Nation State law, Maariv reported. Meretz head Tamar Zandberg said that the existing law is “racist and discriminatory and has no room in a democratic country.” Zandberg vowed to “toss this law to the garbage bin of history.”
