Meretz's Gal-On to Zionist Union: Don't join a unity coalition government

Meretz head Zehava Gal-On called for members of the Zionist Union party to not join a coalition government that would combine both right- and left-wing parties.
"The people voted right-wing and therefore there needs to be a right-wing government," she said.
Gal-On criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu@@@s apology over remarks he made on Election Day about Arab Israeli voters, adding that Meretz sees itself as partner working  on the "frontlines of democracy" in Israel between Jews an Arabs.
