Military careerist retirement age raised to 50

The ministry of finance and IDF agreed to raise the retirement age of army employees to 50, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The retirement age of military careerists will rise incrementally, reaching 48 in 2020 and 50 in 2029. The retirement age for career combat soldiers will remain 42.
The average retirement age in the IDF today is 45.5.
