Ministerial c'tee to work on proper commemoration of fallen

The issue of commemorating the three firefighters who lost their lives in the Carmel fires in December is a "sensitive and painful issue that requires serious, responsible and legal comment," Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Sunday at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting.
"I would like to commemorate the fallen in an appropriate manner that will honor their sacrifice.  Since the issue of recognizing and commemorating the fallen is provided for by law, it requires legislation," the prime minister said adding that he will appoint a ministerial team, to be chaired by Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman, to submit a draft legislation over the proper commemoration for the fallen firefighters.
