Minors arrested on suspicion of robbing Acre judge

Three minors were arrested in Acre this week after attempting to steal security cameras from the home of Haifa District Judge Moshe Gilad, police said Tuesday.
A caller to Acre police on Saturday night reported seeing three minors on the roof of the judge’s house. The suspects fled upon seeing the police cars, but were caught and interrogated that night.
Acre police soon found out that more people were involved in the crime, and arrested a 13-year-old who admitted to the crime and described its implementation. The court extended his remand until Thursday.
The security cameras showed two more people who appeared to be 13 years’ old at the scene of the crime. Acre police have identified the two, and are searching for them. All of the minors have been involved in other security camera robberies, police said.
This story was been censored until Tuesday because of a previous incident at Judge Gilad’s home. Acre police have found no connection between the two crimes.
