After claiming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had personally told him that a deal to release captive IDF soldier Gilad Schalit would take place within one to two weeks, and after a communique from the prime minister's office flatly denied that such an exchange took place, Labor MK Daniel Ben-Simon denied on Saturday that the prime minister had told him anything to that effect in person. "I did not speak to the prime minister at all," he told Army Radio. "I was only making assessments based on conversations with government sources."
