MK Haskel voted to Parliamentary forum

MK Sharren Haskel (Likud) was elected as the Europe-area representative to the International Parliamentary Union Forum of Young Parliamentarians on Sunday at an IPU assembly in Geneva.
“We need to lead young people to political activity, involvement and transparency,” Haskel, 32, said following her victory.
Haskel won 33-22 against an Italian representative vying for the same slot. In recent weeks, the Foreign Ministry and the Knesset Foreign Affairs Department worked to convince parliamentarians from other countries to vote for Haskel.
