MK Regev: I understand the anger against African migrants

Likud Miri Regev on Thursday said that she "understands the anger" of residents of south Tel Aviv toward African migrants in the city.
Speaking in an interview with Army Radio a day after protests against the African migrant population in south Tel Aviv turned violent, Regev said, "After what I see everyday and what I saw yesterday, I understand the anger."
Over 1,000 people attended the demonstration in Tel Aviv’s Hatikva neighborhood calling for the deportation of the migrants.  Police arrested 17 people during and after the event and two Sudanese men claimed they had been assaulted.
