MK Shai: Restrictions need to be lifted so Pollard can come to Israel

Zionist Union MK Dr. Nachman Shai, who heads the Knesset's pro-Pollard caucus, "congratulated Pollard on his release" and promised to continue fighting until the convicted spy's full rights were restored.

"We are now seeing new challenges and restrictions imposed on (Pollard) upon (his) release," Shai said.

"We demand that restrictions concerning mobility and communications be lifted immediately...and he is allowed to leave the United States to anywhere he wants, first and foremost, to Israel," Shai added.
