MK Ahmed Tibi referred to Ya'acov Teitel on Wednesday, saying that the police had not invested enough effort in arresting alleged Jewish terrorists over the past decade. He compared this effort to those made to indict fellow Arab MK Muhammad Barakei, who was charged with disrupting police operations during a protest against Defense Minister Ehud Barak in 2007. "Everyone is Teitel. Not murderers, but living in illegal areas, in settlements," he said. "Everyone's trying to make [him] out to be a wild thorn, a mental patient, but really Teitel's title is that he's a terrorist."
