Mofaz: A-G made correct decision on S. Sudan deportations

Kadima chairman Shaul Mofaz Monday expressed support for Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein's decision allowing authorities to begin deporting those South Sudanese in Israel. "They are not refugees. They came illegally to look for work and do damage to Israel," Mofaz said.

"The 1,500-2,000 (migrants) who come in monthly must be stopped," the Kadima chair added, saying that the fence being built on Israel's southern border must be completed. Israel's next goal, he continued, "should be to return them to their countries of origin."
