A motorcycle struck and killed an approximately 70-year-old pedestrian on Route 85 between Majd al-Crum and Karmiel in the North on Friday.
The 30-year-old motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries in the accident.
The elderly victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his wounds.
