Mubarak's 2 sons remanded 15 days on corruption allegations

Egyptian prosecutors on Monday extended the remand of ousted president Hosni Mubarak's sons Gamal and Alaa, saying further investigation into corruption allegations are necessary, CNN reported.
Gamal and Alaa Mubarak will be held for at least 15 additional days while the investigation continues.
The prosecutors' office said the brothers were being investigated "regarding the prices of their real estate, lands and their role in intervening in the program of settling Egypt's debts," as well as commissions on a gas deal with Israel and their roles in "mandatory partnerships with foreign companies in Egypt."
