NATO service member killed in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan  — NATO said one of its service members has been killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan.
NATO said the service member died Sunday. It did not release the casualty's nationality or provide further details.
The death brings to 11 the number of international troops killed in Afghanistan so far this year. On Saturday, a French soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in Kapisa province east of Kabul.
Last year was the deadliest for international troops in the nearly decade-long war, with more than 700 killed.
