Nazareth resident arrested at Ben Gurion for joining ISIS

A resident of Nazareth was arrested recently in a joint operation of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the police for joining  ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Twenty-year-old Mahran Yussuf Khaladi was arrested upon his return to Israel at Ben Gurion Airport.
Khaladi told the security forces that before departing Israel he was "deeply influenced" by the Islamic State propaganda on the internet. In October 2014, he left for Turkey where on Facebook an ISIS operative told him how to cross the border into Syria.
