Neeman recommends Yehuda

Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman announced on Thursday morning that he will recommend that Yehuda Weinstein be appointed as the next attorney-general. Neeman will request that the cabinet on Sunday approve the nomination. On Wednesday, Yedidya Stern announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy for the role of attorney-general, because he thinks the attorney-general role should be split. Stern was also considered a leading candidate.
