Netanya woman suspected of defrauding banks in Sharon region

A Netanya woman is under arrest on suspicion of defrauding banks in the Sharon region, police said Thursday. The 32-year-old would allegedly open several bank accounts using forged documents, withdraw money and transfer it to criminal organizations. An undercover operation led to the arrest of the woman, who apparently planned to flee the country last week. Police said more arrests were expected in the case.
