Netanyahu congratulates 'president-elect Trump'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Donald Trump on his election as the 45th president of the United States.
"President-Elect Trump is a true friend of the state of Israel," Netanyahu said on Wednesday. adding that they will "continue to promote security, stability and peace in the region."
Netanyahu lauded the "firm relationship" between the two nations, based on shared values, interests and a "shared fate."
"I am certain that Trump and I will continue to strengthen the unique alliance between Israel and the United States and we take it to new heights."
