Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday extended Israel's condolences and sympathies to the President of the Ivory Coast, Alassane Dramane Ouattara, following a deadly beachside attack by al-Qaida Monday that left 18 dead at a resort town in the West African nation.
During the conversation, the premier told Ouattara that Israel was prepared to cooperate with the Ivory Coast in the struggle against terrorism.
Netanyahu also invited Ouattara to visit Israel. The president of the Ivory Coast in turn thanked the prime minister for expressing his condolences, support and willingness to help in the fight against terrorism.
