Netanyahu: Israel has thwarted 'many' attacks on its foreign embassies

Israel and its security establishment has prevented "many" attacks from taking place against the state's foreign embassies, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday.
Speaking at a ceremony for the fallen while on duty in Israel's foreign service, the premier commemorated the 16 foreign services workers who haven fallen victim to such attacks.
Mentioning the 1992 attack on the Israeli embassy in Argentina, Netanyahu said: "Iran was the one pulling the strings of terrorism then and continues to do so today - in a much broader scope."
