Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held an impromptu meeting Monday in the Knesset with Noam Schalit, whose son Gilad has been held captive by Hamas in Gaza for the last three years.
The two men met by chance in the Knesset hallway, where Noam was attending a number of party faction meetings, including those of Labor and Israel Beiteinu.
Noam told The Jerusalem Post that he then received an invitation to meet privately with Netanyahu in his Knesset office.
He declined comment on the content of the conversation.
