Netanyahu offers condolences, assistance to Spanish PM following train tragedy

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a condolence letter Thursday to his Spanish colleague Mariano Rajoy Brey, and offered Israel's assistance after a speeding train flew off the tracks near Santiago de Compostela Wednesday night, killing at least 80.
"On behalf of the Government and people of Israel, I extend my heartfelt condolences for the many human lives lost in yesterday's horrific train accident near Santiago de Compostela," he wrote. "As always, Israel stands ready to assist the people of Spain in any way it can."
