Netanyahu praises Trump for reimposing Iranian sanctions

On Monday, Benjamin Netanyahu praised US President Donald Trump in a press release on the reimposed US sanctions on Iran: "I congratulate President Trump and the American government for their important decision to impose sanctions on Iran."

"This is a significant day for Israel, the US, the region and the world," said Netanyahu. "It demonstrates the determination to end Iran's regional hostility as well as its ongoing plans for nuclear weapons."

Netanyahu added, "I call for the countries of Europe that wish to stop Iran to join this measure. The time has come to stop talking and start doing. This is exactly what the US has done and is what Europe should do."
