Netanyahu proposes return of military parades on Yom Ha'atzmaut

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that the government will be able to find room in the budget to fund the return of the once-annual Jerusalem military parade on Yom Ha'atzmaut - Israel's Independence Day.
Sitting alongside President Reuven Rivlin, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkott at the President's Residence, the prime minister recalled his childhood memories of Yom Ha'atzmaut, with Netanyahu recalling the military parades once held every year in the capital.
“I have a suggestion,” Netanyahu said, “let’s bring back the military marches on Independence Day." The prime minister said that he would find room in the budget for the proposal.
