Netanyahu reportedly to ask for millions in funds for West Bank settlements

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will seek tens of millions of shekels in supplementary funds for Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria just hours before his government is expected to officially dissolve, Army Radio reported on Monday.
Netanyahu, who will appear before the Knesset Finance Committee in his capacity as acting finance minister following the dismissal of Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid), is expected to request NIS 80 million which will be earmarked for security purposes in local councils as well as another NIS 40 million for the settlement division.
